JOB SUMMARY :
The Land and nutrient Specialist is responsible for the lagoon management and ground maintenance activities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Maintenance Management System
Supervise the implementation of the Enterprise Asset Management System (Maximo), ensuring optimum utilization of the system.
Regularly review the data gathered in Maximo and perform technical analysis as a basis for improvement in both the system and maintenance management
Ground Maintenance
Submits list and discusses priority works with immediate superior and/or concerned department heads or process owners for appropriate action.
Regularly performs reviews, recommends and implements a cost-effective maintenance program to ensure effective maintenance of critical and non-critical units, based on the root causes identified from previous problems encountered, condition monitoring and time-based tasks ensuring that identified problems do not recur.
Establishes and implements a maintenance monitoring plan
Coordinate with the Farm Manager in the establishing and maintaining an efficient materials/spare parts requisition system.
Establishes, maintains, recommends and implements a good housekeeping program for ground to ensure compliance to but not limited to 5 S and other company standard and government regulations
Spare Parts and Requisition :
Establishes and maintains an efficient materials/spare parts requisition system. Monitors the requisitions ensuring that the spare parts requested and received will meet the required specifications and that the inventory is kept lean while the supply of material is available when needed.
Continuous Improvement Projects:
Conducts feasibility studies on the possible improvements to optimize and ensure efficiency.
Forwards recommendations to Immediate Superior and/or concerned process owners for evaluation and approval.
Recommends and implements approved company policies, procedures, and guidelines to enhance safety and accident prevention of manpower at all times.
People Development
Supervises monitors and evaluates the performance of direct subordinates.
Builds IDP and provides intervention for the development and growth of direct subordinates.
Monitors the services of third party manpower service provider in the Maintenance Department
Other Tasks :
Appointed membership to committees whenever necessary
Performs related work as may be assigned by the immediate superior.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT :
Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
At least 3 years experience in Agricultural related or Grounds maintenance work.
CRITICAL SKILLS OR COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

Excellent Knowledge on land and nutrient management.
Capability to interpret symbols/plans
Above average Computer skills (word, excel, and ppt or related software)
