Implement the project's overall knowledge management activities in collaboration with project staff and USAID. She/he will be responsible for the management of overall Knowledge Management Systems and its alignment with BARMMHealth project strategies
Develop, lead, and oversee implementation of strategies to foster knowledge sharing with external stakeholders
Design and implement effective learning activities, work with clients to scope and implement appropriate and effective knowledge capture and sharing initiatives
Design, coordinate and support implementation of webinars, online training, virtual collaborative exchanges symposiums, conferences and other events
Document and share learning to ensure requirements, lessons learned, and best practices for activities, events, and other knowledge management activities are clear and documented
Develop knowledge sharing platforms including websites, social media, e-learning exchanges
Develop and maintain system-wide training and resource materials linked to knowledge management
Prepare progress reports
Draft fact sheets and other communication materials, e.g., briefs, reports, videos, infographics etc.
Work collaboratively with HQ knowledge management team including communications, updates for URC websites, training, and assessing and learning to ensure alignment and cohesion
Think outside the box - identify and share more creative, efficient and effective ways to engage colleagues, partners and audiences.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in knowledge management, organizational learning, development related area with experience in knowledge management and communication, or a relevant advanced degree.
Minimum of 7 years relevant experience in knowledge management and communication
Demonstrable experience in recording and storing information in a physical and digital formats
Proficiency in a large number of computer applications
Extensive knowledge of key information sources on reproductive health, gender and family planning
Advanced skills in packaging information for various audience groups
Knowledge of USAID branding and communications guidelines and policies
Prior experience in knowledge management and USAID communication strategies
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and local languages
