Alstom Philippines is expanding pool of multi-talented individuals. We are looking for experienced and versatile Junior Quality Engineer.
Office Location: Lot 1, President Carlos P. Garcia Ave. (C5 Extension) San Dionisio, Sucat, Parañaque City, Philippines
What are my responsibilities?
Perform inspections of POS materials and installations according to well defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical and/ or electrical measurements. Contributes into site improvement actions and programs related to the Quality scope.
Accepts or Reject materials and installations as defined in the working instructions (MS, ITP, installation checklist, etc..)
Accurately document NCR and results of the inspections and testing, so as to launch the expected reaction on supplier side and Alstom teams (NCR, QRQC, 8D...).
Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner.
Control the correct calibration of critical equipment and instrumentation used in the inspections.
Assist in the writing and updating inspection procedures, protocol and checklists.
Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action.
Works with installation teams to alert on anticipated risks of installation due to non-conformity.
Records inspection results in the installation tools as required.
Reports to the Hierarchy and Functional Managers the synthesis of inspection results. Stop the production in case of a non-conformity which justifies mandatory rework.
Escalate the anomalies detected on installation works & ensure their effective treatment.
Support installation teams regarding the self-inspection.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
Technical background enabling to understand Rail Power Supply system or equivalent.
Experience in managing Quality tools and problem-solving tools.
Rigor, Communication, knowledge of Quality standard (ISO9001, IRIS, CMMI, ...) and quality tools
Experience in operational activities and in documentation management
Awareness on Processes and Products delivered in the project,
Fluent in English
