Job Description
QA Engineers will be executing manual test cases from TestRail daily. This will be the top priority for a Jr. QA Engineer
They will be executing the test cases with the latest version of browsers supported by the company. Current browsers supported are Chrome, MSEdge, Safari, and Firefox
Bugs found from regression testing will be reported in company's ticketing system, currently this system is Jira
Bugs reported will include screenshots or videos (if applicable), steps to replicate, and any other information that can help quickly identify the bug. The QA Engineer will also link the test case, if applicable to the bug that is being reported
QA Engineers will be comfortable communicating through Slack and any other channels of communications used by the company
QA Engineers will take direction from the local office team lead and be willing to handle more tasks that are assigned from the manager of the local office
QA will be willing to help group together and test new features that have yet to be released to production and provide tickets on any bugs they encounter as they do testing on this new feature
The employee will also have the opportunity to work with a the company's QA employee to help pair test with this employee and do additional work outside of regression testing. This will happen once the local manager feels they are confident/ competent in regression testing, knowing the canopy app, and able to handle the added job assignment
Help revise existing test cases in TestRail, as needed
Any other job duties that might be assigned as the complexity or needed change.
Qualifications
Open for fresh graduates of Bachelor's degree related to IT
