The job will evolve quickly and will require dynamism, flexibility, team collaboration and adaptability. Your responsibilities will include:
Payroll Product Specialist
Collaborate with the Product Team to improve payroll service delivery processes and optimise our online payroll solution by:
Assisting the Product Team in improving/developing the payroll application
Developing new user test cases and validating test results during testing
Executing test cases and validate results
Participate in the User Acceptance Testing stage for development of new functionalities
Supporting other teams by being the go-to person for the payroll products
Payroll Processing
Process and manage payroll for assigned clients in compliance with government regulations (SSS, Philhealth, HDMF, BIR, DOLE).
Ensure payroll is processed accurately and timely based on our agreed Customer Service Level
Process payroll
Prepare and execute payroll payouts through electronic systems.
Prepare and manage dispatch of payroll payslips.
Process payroll-related taxes.
Compute final pay and prepare employee 2316.
Work directly with clients to achieve organizational goals as required.
Requirements
Must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Finance/Accountancy, Mathematics, HRM or equivalent
At least 3-4 years work experience as a Payroll Specialist, or similar role
Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, labor legislation and regulations (tax and wage laws) and payroll best practices
Proficient in MS Office applications such as Excel or Google Sheets
High numerical aptitude and detailed-oriented
Good time-management skills
Can work with minimal supervision in an entrepreneurial environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with payroll/HR/timekeeping software is preferred
