We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Architect to join our team. This role is ideal for an individual with a passion for architectural design and site supervision. The Junior Architect will support our design and construction teams by assisting in the development of architectural plans and ensuring that project requirements are met on-site. Key Responsibilities:
Architectural Design and Documentation
Assist in developing schematic designs, detailed drawings, and architectural concepts.
Prepare design presentations, renderings, and digital models using software like AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.
Support the preparation and revision of architectural drawings, plans, and technical documents.
Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure design integration and compliance.
Conduct research on materials, building codes, and relevant industry standards.
Site Supervision and Project Coordination
Conduct regular site visits to ensure that construction aligns with the approved plans, specifications, and quality standards.
Assist in monitoring and reporting project progress to ensure timely completion of milestones.
Work closely with contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to address and resolve on-site issues.
Ensure safety standards are maintained on-site and report any concerns or deviations promptly.
Document on-site changes, maintain daily logs, and ensure accurate as-built records.
Client and Team Collaboration
Attend project meetings with clients, contractors, and consultants as needed.
Participate in internal team discussions to contribute design ideas, solutions, and feedback.
Communicate with the project team to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
Additional Duties
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, sustainable practices, and emerging design technologies.
Assist in administrative tasks as required, including project scheduling, documentation, and quality control processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related field.
1-2 years of experience in architectural design and/or site supervision.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong understanding of architectural principles, materials, and building codes.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and work under minimal supervision.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Experience with site supervision or on-site project coordination.
Knowledge in furniture and modular installations & processes.
Can start immediately.
