JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT
Accounting and Comptrollership Department
To be hired through DBPSC Manpower Services (Contractual)
Minimum requirements:
EDUCATION: RA 1080 (CPA)
EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years relevant work experience (specializing in Finance - General/Cost Accounting, etc.)
TRAINING: min. 8 hours of relevant training
Duties and Responsibilities:
a. Assists in developing, installing and maintaining effective accounting systems and procedures in accordance with established policies, rules and regulations.
b. Prepares and analyzes financial, cost and accounting statements to determine performance and render appropriate records thereof;
c. Interprets accounts and examines records, vouchers and prepares reports to substantiate individual transactions before settlement;
d. Assists in the preparation of financial statement, reports and schedules for management analysis and decision making and for compliance with statutory requirements;
e. Analyses and reconciles assigned accounts; and
f. Performs other related functions as may be assigned from time to time.
