Monitoring and Escalation
Continuously monitor network, server, and system alerts using monitoring tools.
Promptly escalate incidents or abnormalities to senior engineers or appropriate support teams.
Log incidents and events accurately into the ticketing system.
Basic Troubleshooting
Conduct initial diagnostics for common network or system issues based on predefined procedures.
Perform basic troubleshooting for connectivity, latency, or application issues.
Follow up on tickets and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
Technical Support
Assist in handling incoming technical support queries via phone, email, or chat.
Work under supervision to resolve routine technical problems.
Document support steps and resolution details in the knowledge base.
Collaboration and Reporting
Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and learn system behavior.
Assist in preparing shift handover reports and daily summaries.
Participate in team meetings and basic training sessions for skills development.
Device and Documentation Support
Assist in updating network or equipment inventory and documentation.
Support device labelling, cabling, and simple hardware checks as needed.
Other job-related activities may be assigned from time to time.
Education - At least graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or any related course.
Related Work Experience - At least 1year of NOC experience in IT Operations
Knowledge - Knowledgeable in the following:
Basic understanding of IT systems and service operations
Familiarity with monitoring and ticketing tools (e.g., Zabbix, Nagios, ServiceNow)
Exposure to ITIL concepts is an advantage
