We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic professional with a solid technical foundation in financial platforms and a proven track record for delivering high-quality applications in the Cloud. As a key member of a distributed team, you will be responsible for the enhancement and ongoing support of existing products, and the delivery of new ones, for Cloud and on-prem systems within the team's remit. In addition, you will also be expected to be a technological thought leader within the team to identify and drive the uptake of new technologies where appropriate.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
proficient oral and written communications skills
proven skills in Core and Enterprise Java 8+, Spring Boot, JPA, Angular, and NodeJS
experience with at least one cloud platform, preferably AWS or GCP
experience in different structured query language such as Sybase, MS SQL, MongoDB
Although not required, experience in the following will be highly valued:
Management of AWS compute, RDS and Docker environments
JSON, Moustache within application as code or infrastructure as code context
Configuration management tools and containerization technologies
CI/CD tools and automation practices
Monitoring and alerting tools e.g. Sumologic or AppDynamics
