THE JOB
As an IT Service Delivery Specialist working on the Customer Success Team, you will be tasked with dealing with our clients, both new and existing, through different service delivery and activation processes as well as successful service turn-up follow-up.
By doing this, you will help the company establish a mutual and beneficial connection with the customer. Your contributions will make the company grow and prosper with a strong and loyal clientele base. Our team will be working with and beside you throughout your entire stay. As an infrastructure deployment specialist, on a day to day basis, your responsibilities include
Ensuring our Data Center infrastructure management (DCIM) are kept up to date
Establishing and maintain positive and effective working relationships with customers and co-workers
Communicating with technicians at our Data Center locations to ensure servers are prepped for installation
Lead deployment and launch of new customers through the implementation of their project plans
Ensuring all service setup and timelines are met or exceeded in the delivery process
Producing detailed MOP documentation on your processes
Providing re-enforcing follow up with new service delivery setups to ensure client satisfaction
What You'll Need to Land This Job
A minimum of 2 years experience in an IT or similar role
Experience in end-to-end troubleshooting complex environments.
Experience handling of help desk processes and understand the role of service delivery
Detail-orientation with an ability to prioritize and meet aggressive goals.
Flexibility to deal with customer and internal challenges as they arise
Solid written, oral skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical clients
Experience working in a start-up environment desired, with a strong "do-it-yourself" work ethic.
Experience in server fleet management, data center networking, and data center power
Coordinate and plan the placement of all hardware installed in the data center
Rack design, Power Layout Design
Desired Skills
Experience with IaaS solutions and working with customers through the launch and implementation
Strong attention to detail organizational skills
Experience in the telecommunications and Cloud Hosting industry
Familiarity with IaaS solutions, service and hardware providers, and industry knowledge.
Minimum of 2 Years Experience in Service Delivery or other IT support positions
