Job Summary:
The IT Digital Platform Process Specialist works directly with the Project Manager - Internal Business Application to help define the projects' visions, goals, and objectives through recommending and taking action to improve progress. This includes analyzing progress reported against the work schedules, dealing with financial budget and limitations, and reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and the user's needs.
Duties and responsibilities
• Digital Platform on Web or Mobile Business requirements gathering and analysis.
• Collaborate with business partners or with the Digital Marketing team to analyze and understand business problems/needs.
• Facilitate project kick-offs with the project team and align on roles and responsibilities.
• Facilitate business requirements gathering sessions with the business owners and key technical resources.
• Elicit business and user requirements from business partners using a variety of Industry Standard/Best Practices techniques on the web and mobile solutions.
• Translate the business and user requirements into system requirements.
• The document, categorize and prioritize business, user, and system requirements.
• Validate requirements for quality attributes, such as clarity, conciseness, correctness, completeness, testability, and traceability.
• Make recommendations and propose technical/non-technical solutions to solve business problems and meet business requirements.
• Partner with business stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and success metrics for proposed solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-application teams to design comprehensive solutions based on business and system requirements.
• Create and document functional specifications, use cases, and designs.
• Review and approve project documentation, including estimates, RACIs, project plans, and technical blueprints.
• Review and approve (or create, as needed) QA documentation, including test plans, test schedules, traceability and coverage matrices, test cases, and test results.
• Drive execution of testing cycles and create testing sign-off documentation, as needed.
• Provide subject matter expertise and oversight to QA providers, as needed.
• Support business stakeholders with UAT.
• Provide subject matter expertise to support providers as needed. Ensure that business practices are represented in support scripts and incident management activities.
• Understands current and future procedures, including procedures for the entire enterprise
• Defines and documents business needs and requirements; generates project business cases
• Participates in project and portfolio reviews to balance the project's alignment with business cases
• Proactively recommends enhancements to existing business applications and IT procedures
• Persuades internal and external stakeholders of the new technology and strategies
• Works with the project team to develop a project plan, including facilitating procedures for manage risks, issues, scope, quality, and general project communication
• Communicates with the project team to delegate tasks and provide the regular status of project activities and milestones
•Tracks scope changes of each project, gather data, and analyzes the impact of changes, and makes recommendations to the project managers
• Keeps accurate records of committed, expended, and forecast costs and oversee all organizational project costs to determine and verify the cost variance analysis on actual spending against the budget
• Develops timely, accurate, and in-depth analysis of project costs and schedules, providing corrective action and recommendations
• Manages project issues and risks; submits project risks analysis and impact to project manager
• Communicates and collect updates from suppliers and analyze impacts to project schedule
• Identifies cost-savings opportunities through project completion ahead of schedule and proposed cost reductions
Qualifications:
• College graduate with a bachelor's degree in IT or similar is desired
• Must have at least 5 years or up of working experience specific to Loans processes and system alignment
• Prior to solid experience in the same post focused on these digital solutions
• Experience in any of project management methodologies and techniques (Agile, Scrum, Six Sigma, ASAP (SAP), PERT, Critical Path, Lean, PMI, Waterfall, etc.) is required
• Proficiency with project management tools (Zoho, MS Project, Wrike, Jira, Trello, Basecamp, Slacks, Confluence, Asana, etc.) and basic SQL is desired
• Familiar with any ERP solutions (SAP, Oracle, IFS, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage Intacct, etc.) is required
• Extensive experience in flowchart and diagram tools (MS Visio, Draw i.o, Lucid Chart, Smart Draw, ABC Flowcharter, etc.) is required
• Project Management certifications (PMBook, PMI, Prince, Six Sigma, etc.) is an advantage but not mandatory
• Experience in creating detailed reports and analysis
• Must be very detail-oriented
• Good planning, organizational, and time management skills
• Must have basic knowledge of project control techniques and principles, and the ability to perform comprehensive forecasting and analysis
• Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Must be self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage to change priorities
• Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
• Display strong analytical and problem-solving skills
