IT Application Packaging Specialist - Java Based Applications
We are looking for an IT Application Packaging Specialist with creative thinking and strong communication skills. You must be proactive, independent and dedicated person, as well as Team player.
As an IT Application Packaging Specialist for java-based applications, you will be responsible for:
Application lifecycle management of hundreds of applications all around the globe
Technical support during analysis, design and implementation of java-related projects
Successful updates of existing java-based applications in Citrix environment and on individual workstations
Troubleshooting and fixing various application errors (not limited to debugging of old code)
Refactoring of old code (if needed)
Creating and maintaining technical documentation
Participation in daily team meetings
Participation in applications related meeting as well as in the calls with the Service Owners and Vendors
Possible path of development
If you have an IT background and would like to expand your skillset, there is an option to join Application Services Team and become a specialist within their field.

Qualifications and Requirements
Experience with creating - modifying a Java Deployment Rule Set (DRS)
Experience with troubleshooting and debugging tools
Understanding of decompiled java code
Strong core Java design and development skills
Experience of developing java applications
You have 2-3 years of hands-on experience on a similar position
Experience of Application Virtualization technology (App-V 5.1) will be beneficial
Experience with MSI & EXE technology and other wrappers for deployments will be beneficial
Basic knowledge of Citrix infrastructure is nice to have
Good knowledge of Windows Server 2016 and 2019
Good Knowledge of PowerShell will be beneficial
Good level of English - both written and spoken
You must be creative and at the same time you must work with deadlines
