RESPONSIBILITIES
Position Summary
The Internal Communications Associate is technically-skilled, media savvy and creative writer who can develop multimedia materials for internal communications.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develops and writes content for the employee intranet site and ABS-CBN's exclusive social media network KapamilYammer in various available media forms:
o Write articles that may vary from news to feature articles and listicles
o Shoot, edit, and produce videos and similar materials for the internal audience
o Design and layout e-teasers, e-announcements, and other internal electronic announcements
Supports the Internal Communications manager in planning the intranet site and KapamilYammer's editorial line up and in developing and executing internal communication campaigns of the company.
Covers internal events assigned by his/her supervisor
Conducts interviews and does research for relevant internal stories
Works with the Internal Communications manager in screening the materials for various internal comm tools (email blast, desktop wallpaper, vertical LED display, elevator monitors, etc) execution
Helps in update the company's social network KapamilYammer
Monitors daily news pertinent to the company and submits summaries for the "Issues of the Day"
Performs other tasks assigned by his/her supervisor
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
Educational Background:
Graduates of Multimedia Arts, Journalism, Mass Communication
Work Experience:
At least two to three years of significant work experience in a media organization or agency will be an advantage; experience in writing and producing multimedia content will be an advantage, fresh graduates may be accommodated
Skills & Attributes:
Excellent communication skills in English and Filipino, both orally and in writing
Ability to produce stories on different platforms (web, video, social media, etc)
Has a nose for news, ability to write for different audiences and deliver clear copy, including proofreading and attention to details
Interested in broadcasting and entertainment industry
Excellent interpersonal skills and a good team player
Creative, confident, and enthusiastic
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize assignments, and time management skills
Computer savvy
Proficient in MS office applications and has basic knowledge in Adobe Photoshop and Premiere
