Major Areas of Responsibilities:
Design and develop learning materials for Customer Service and Support professionals
Author and create scripts and storyboards for use as on-demand modules and eLearning resources
Work with a pool of segment resources in the delivery of scalable content in the form of scripts, lesson plans, instructor guides, job aids, etc.
Maintain world-class quality standards for training content, employing the fundamental principles of instructional design
Implement eLearning modules that meet accessibility requirements for a diverse audience
Convert and migrate instructor-led training to online asynchronous learning where appropriate
Inject the Thomson Reuters brand attributes into all virtual content
Essential Job Functions:
Partner with learning consultants, instructional designer (curriculum developer), and subject matter experts in developing and designing learning content, materials, and resources
Complete all projects in an efficient manner, always evaluating the value of the project to the business to determine the appropriate time and resources to devote to the project
Consult with internal stakeholders on ways to leverage training with respect to their business plans and goals
Effectively incorporate adult learning principles into all components of instructional design
Implement projects by developing action plans, obtaining resources, and completing assignments in a timely manner to ensure learning goals are achieved
Qualifications:
College Degree (required) with at least some course focus on education (preferred)
2-3 years of instructional system design experience (required)
Advanced knowledge of training tools and models (e.g., ADDIE, adult learning principles) (required)
Excellent verbal and written English language skills
Extensive experience with content authoring software (e.g., Articulate Rise, Adobe Captivate, SnagIt, Camtasia, Storyline)
