Your Role and Responsibilities
Strong Execution (Infrastructure, network, storage, OS/Linux etc.) skills leveraging Cloud technologies including OpenStack, Softlayer, Amazon etc. Good understanding of monitoring techniques and automation from Infrastructure perspective. Strong ITIL skills, System management specialists.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
This role is a member of the IBM Azure Cloud Platform team on a project responsible for:
Configuring and managing the operational tasks for Azure IaaS.
Author and deploy ARM templates.
Configure and maintain services in an Azure environment such as virtual machines, virtual network, ExpressRoute, S2S / P2S, storage account, availability set, load balancer, extensions, etc.
Experience in using PowerShell and Azure CLI.
Manage Recovery Services for backup and recovery of Virtual Machines.
Knowledgeable with Azure Site Recovery
Perform monitoring using log analytics and other tools available in Azure
Network technologies and architecture (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc)
Enable security including topics such as encryption, network security
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
