Dash10 Managed Services, a representative office of Zeald, a New Zealand-based company, is looking for a competent, enthusiastic, positive, and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Informative Copywriter.
Zeald is one of the largest full-service website design, online marketing, and e-business consulting companies in New Zealand, and has been voted 'Best Web Developer' in the country. Zeald helps NZ & Australian businesses who are frustrated by the lack of leads and sales they get from their websites & and other online marketing activities.
The purpose of your role is to produce written content for web pages, social media, and other marketing materials, which also include proof-reading and Holistic Quality Check (HQC) tasks. You will need to inform and engage your readers and motivate them to take actions, such as buying a product or service. Ensure that each copy provided is not plagiarized and well proof-read.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaise with MS (Marketing Specialist) - from set-up to completion, and you'll be checking in with MS regularly, either by email or hangouts.
* Carry out project scoping and create a clear brief, to ensure you understand what the client wants.
* Tailor the content and style of individual writing assignments according to their purpose - whether they are intended to sell or inform.
* Understand your target audience - you're not writing for the client, you're writing for their readers, so you'll need to know what interests them.
* Identify key messages - understand the main thing that you want the reader to feel and do and how to communicate this powerfully.
* Work with the creative team to ensure that the visual elements of the content complement the words.
* Research your client's industry and their audience.
* Identify fresh and interesting angles for your copy.
* Write for web pages, blogs, social media, e-books, slogans, and video script.
* Edit your own and others' writing.
* Provide other digital content, such as images and video, if required.
* Log your content to Zeald Dashboard Worksheet, where the assigned task is logged and tick through and be mindful of deadlines.
* Work with your peers to review the impact of your work.
* Assist with business pitches to win new clients or projects.
