As a Hydrologist/Water Resources Specialist, you will be part of the environmental planning and permitting team to conduct Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), environmental monitoring, and other environmental assessments. You are also expected to support different Jacobs' business lines to provide advice on environmental aspects for feasibility studies and strategic consulting services specific to water resources. You will be working under the direction of the Environmental Planning and Permitting Lead and Environmental Services Country Lead with additional reporting to the Regional Technical Director.
You are a highly qualified professional able to work with a team of diverse scientists and engineers. You have expertise in hydrological and water resources assessment and conducting EIAs.
Qualifications
The selected person should possess the following;
Bachelor's degree or a higher qualification in environmental science or engineering, geology, chemistry or chemical engineering, physics, or civil engineering.
With relevant experience in hydrological and water resource assessments, EIA, environmental management, environmental monitoring, and relevant studies.
Certification from DENR-EMB as an EIA preparer or equivalent is desired but not mandatory
