Reconcile purchases between internal software systems and spreadsheet reports
Ensure that all inventory items have corresponding purchase orders in the point-of-sale system
Identify and troubleshoot discrepancies or issues that prevent purchase order creation
Log and escalate unresolved issues for further investigation
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for audit trails
Ensure accuracy and completeness of the company's balance sheet and general ledger accounts
Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures by preparing inventory purchase reconciliations and financial summaries
Qualifications & Skills
5+ years proven experience in reconciliation, auditing, or quality assurance
Accounting or finance background strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA not required)
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Proficient in spreadsheet tools (e.g., Google Sheets or Excel)
Comfortable working remotely and independently
