Job Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Selection: Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified ESL teachers and support staff. Conduct interviews, screen applicants, and manage the selection process.
Employee Onboarding and Offboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing employment contracts, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring all required documentation is completed. Handle employee separation procedures when necessary.
HR Policies and Procedures: Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures in compliance with local labor laws and regulations. Ensure staff members understand and adhere to these policies.
Payroll and Benefits Administration: Oversee payroll processes, including accurate and timely processing of employee salaries, deductions, and benefits. Collaborate with external service providers for payroll outsourcing if required.
Performance Management: Support the implementation of performance management systems, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and training and development initiatives.
Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee grievances and provide guidance on resolving workplace conflicts. Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or a related discipline.
At least with two (2) years of HR Supervisory experience.
Knowledgeable in HR Legal aspects, compensations and benefits, employment ordinances, and taxation in the Philippines.
Experience at an ESL Academy is an advantage but not required.
Solid management team working experiences in a cross-cultural company environment.
