Is currently looking for:
 
HR OFFICER
 
The HR Officer is responsible for managing day-to-day human resource operations at the construction site or head office, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.
 
Key Responsibilities:
HR Oversight & Administration
Oversee and implement all HR policies and procedures in the construction site/office.
Maintain and update employee records (contracts, IDs, licenses, training certificates).
Ensure compliance with labor laws, occupational health and safety standards, and company policies.
Timekeeping & Payroll Coordination
Monitor and consolidate daily time records (DTRs), biometric logs, overtime, and leave forms.
Validate and submit accurate attendance reports for payroll processing.
Coordinate with the payroll department to resolve discrepancies and ensure on-time salary release.
Monitor workers' work hours, absenteeism, and tardiness.
Employee Grievances & Discipline
Serve as the point person for handling employee concerns and workplace disputes.
Conduct preliminary investigations for complaints, disciplinary actions, and policy violations.
Facilitate conflict resolution, issue incident reports, and recommend appropriate actions.
Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all grievance handling.
Recruitment & Onboarding
Coordinate with project managers and department heads to identify manpower needs.
Post job advertisements, screen applicants, and schedule interviews.
Conduct orientations for new hires and ensure completion of pre-employment requirements.
Employee Engagement & Welfare
Implements site-based engagement programs, toolbox talks, and HR-led activities.
Monitor employee morale and well-being on the site.
Facilitate communication between workers and management.
Reports & Documentation
Prepare and submit regular reports (headcount, timekeeping, recruitment status, disciplinary cases).
Support audits and inspections as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 3-5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a construction or project-based environment.
Familiarity with timekeeping systems and payroll processes.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and construction site HR practices.
Excellent communication, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills.
Proficient in MS Office and HRIS.
