The role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a best in class payroll and offboarding team seeking to deliver superior services for the company across regional areas.
This role's key objectives include being an expert in the field of payroll, offboarding, vendor management, reporting and automation.
Responsible for leading the strategic vision and delivery execution of the full suite of global payroll products and offboarding processes, addressing internal and external business changes, market challenges and/or regulator issues.
The role will drive and lead payroll and offboarding automation and digitization in processes globally. Additionally, the role is responsible for advanced reporting to provide visibility to spend, risk areas, severance, and other payments. Implementations of time and attendance systems and other HRS activities/projects through the team in a consistent delivery strategy.
This role will lead multifunction teams, responsible for delivering comprehensive solutions for end users. The manager will define and implement service strategies to optimize the customer experience while delivering on operational efficiency.
This position is part of the HR Services leadership team and will report to the HR Global Payroll & Offboarding Director.
The role needs to flex between strategic vision, payroll compliance, and operational management.
Frequent interactions with senior leaders, HR Business Partners, and members of the HR Service centers is expected.
The leader will partner with the regional teams to identify opportunities to leverage best practices to manage and facilitate the regional payroll delivery model to drive business results.
Working with business and HR leaders, responsible to apply creativity and problem-solving techniques to implement critical payroll strategies and processes.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related disciplines
Excellent verbal and written communications skills required in English
Preferably at least 8+ Years of experience in HR or Payroll
Strong Executive presence, ability to lead large extended leadership teams
Strong knowledge of Federal, State, Country, and Local payroll policies, and procedures
Ability to analyze large data sets and see strategic opportunities
Ability to integrate people / org data for business analytics and deliver integrated insights and solutions
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Strong consulting and project management skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and cross functional teams
Strong analytical skills with an expertise in analysing complex data and converting into meaningful insights
Ability to collaborate seamlessly across functions including legal, finance, business unit leaders, local teams and external consultants and advisors
Ability to communicate in a clear and compelling manner aligned with audience
Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with tight turnaround times with the ability to prioritize work when there are competing demands and urgent business needs
