The HR Compensation and Benefits Associate Manager is primarily responsible for assisting the HR Manager in creating relevant, competitive and cost-efficient remuneration programs to enable employee retention and attract top talent
Below are the specific responsibilities of a Compensation and Benefits Associate Manager:
· Evaluate and modify existing as well as develop and implement new compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedures
· Ensure that all of these programs, policies, and procedures comply with current legislation about human rights and pay equity
· Track compensation and benefits benchmarking data, utilize them in developing or updating programs and policies
· Assist the HR Manager in designing the Company's Job Grading System
· Assist in the implementation of performance-based reward systems
· Ensures he/she is equipped with the latest trends and best practices in compensation and benefits, rewards and recognition
Qualifications
· Possess a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources and other relevant fields
· At least five (5) years extensive knowledge of benefits and compensation programs, policies, procedures, and applicable legislation in a leadership capacity
· Possess hands-on experience with HRIS or payroll software
· Excellent understanding of job evaluation and job analysis systems
· Familiarity with labor legislation
· Adaptable, able to work in a diverse team environment
· Comfortable with technology, able to maximize knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
· Possess a keen eye for detail, a natural propensity for process improvement and affinity for analytics
· Able to multi-task effectively, respond to changing business priorities and deadlines
