RESPONSIBLE FOR ACCOUNTING OF SALES, RECEIVABLES, LOANS, PRODUCT COST ACCOUNTING AND FIXED ASSET RECORDS/DEPRECIATION.
A. Principal Duties
I. Sales
Prepares Monthly Sales Register/Summary with accounting entries.
Accounts for numerical series of Sales Invoice and Delivery Receipts.
II. Receivables and Cash Receipts
Prepares Monthly Collection Register with accounting entries.
Match Collection Receipts or Official Receipts against Sales Invoice and note discrepancies, if any.
Prepares credit notes for deductions made by customers of the Sales Invoice and prepares accounting entries. These deductions are: withholding taxes (2307), rejected deliveries, short deliveries , penalties which were not considered/noted in the Sales Invoice.
Coordinates with Treasury Dept. on the bank transactions relating to receivables.
Prepares Statement of Account with Aging per Customer for guide and following up collection of Receivables.
Prepares Receivable Aging Report for management.
Maintain record of Customer Advance Payment of Future sales
III Company Loans/Car and Truck Loans
Summarizes monthly the company bank loans, interest, availments and payments and prepares accounting entries.
IV Product Costing
Tabulates cost for imported products and prepares accounting entries to the book and purchases.
Maintains records of landed cost per PO to be used for costing sales and inventories
V. Fixed Assets
Maintain records of each item of fixed assets.
Assigns fixed asset number for each fixed items.
Prepares Monthly Depreciation.
Qualification Requirements
BS Accounting Graduate
2 years working experience in Accounting work
