Job Description
The health content writer will develop and create well-researched content for digital media on tight deadlines. Must follow company editorial style guide. Excellent writing, spelling, and understanding of grammar are essential. Ideal candidates will enjoy researching and writing about diverse health topics and have the ability to write to personas as defined by your supervisor.
Content Writer Duties and Responsibilities
· Create concise and innovative headlines and body copy
· Upload, format and publish to WordPress
· Consistently brainstorm and collaborate with team for new ideas and strategies
· Research markets and industries to compare and create content that is innovative and original
· Source eye-catching images to accompany articles
Would be Nice Features
Previous experience in writing health-based content or experience in a related health field.
Daily activities
Researching and writing on define topics by editor. Sourcing images from Shutterstock. Uploading and formatting articles in WordPress. Updating team and content plan docs as needed. Editing and adjusting existing content that isn't performing as expected.
Qualifications
· Collaborate with campaign managers and editors
Content Writer Requirements and Qualifications
· Excellent grasp of the English language
· WordPress experience
· Image sourcing experience
· Self-motivated
· Strict adherence to company policies and styles.
