What you'll do:
Own and implement the accounting strategy (vision, projects, team structure, etc.) for the AP/AR areas globally, including worldwide internalization/transition from external accounting firms
Own the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly AP/AR financial statements including consolidation and reporting - for 25+ entities
Implement best-in-class accounting processes to a 2 bio. EUR scalable state - including automation, digitization, etc.
Lead projects and manage improvement resources including performance reporting
Identify opportunities to improve our business (growth, profitability...) through diffusion & utilization of financial statements or insights
Support the accounting sub-team's daily to deliver high quality statements in a growing and fast changing business environment in coordination with internal and external stakeholders
Advance and optimize the team structure (locations, responsibilities, hiring...)
Mentor team and drive professional development
Who we're looking for:
Inspiring leader who believes that accounting can have an essential and long-term impact on our business success
Strategic and creative thinker, able to manage stakeholders and competing priorities
Ability to adapt and to prioritize the most important and biggest levers at ease, in a constantly changing environment
At least 5+ years of experience in group accounting across all levels (industry, audit, etc.) - GBS experience is a plus
Profound knowledge in IFRS accounting - BSc. /MSc. /MBA in related fields. CPA is a must.
Experience in data- and ERP projects (migration, etc.)
Fluent in English - excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong hands-on mentality, pragmatism, and ability to convince rather than push through change internally as well as externally. You are an entrepreneur within the finance field
