Reports to Biddable Lead - GroupM Nexus
GroupM Nexus Responsibilities:
The GroupM Nexus team adopt a collaborative and customer-centric approach in delivering high-value and innovative solutions for our Agencies and Agencies clients, including the activation and execution of dynamic media campaigns.
The following are the responsibilities of the GroupM Nexus Buying team (Search) and the varying degree of complexity is subject to individual job level:
Ensure understanding of all GroupM Agencies brand portfolio, deliverables and campaign KPIs
Be an expert acrossmediabehaviorsand how target audience interacts with searchtouchpoints (e.g. Google, Microsoft Advertising, Amazon)and any cross-channel delivery
Leadopportunities to improve and enhance clients campaigns and advise GroupM Agencies accordingly
Proactively address, and escalate when needed, any issue that compromises the quality and timeliness of deliverables
Leadquality control and assurancepracticeswithin Search activation
Ensure teamunderstanding and compliance with finance process (including end of campaign reconciliation and addressing media query),GroupMpolicies and procedures.
Leadcross-functional collaboration by demonstrating openness to new ideas and interest in learning from colleagues with different expertise.
Support GroupM Agencies in providing specific expertise to clients when/if needed Leadand drive knowledge share and understanding of new trends and technologies across Search activation
Individual Responsibilities:
Independently manage the assigned teams and implement Search campaigns on major platforms (e.g. Google, Microsoft Advertising, Amazon) across all GroupM Agency accounts
Formulate Search strategies for client's campaigns, ensuring that recommendations and decisions are consistent, imaginative and deliver results.(including draft media schedule) with GroupM agency planners/teams
Provide actionable insights during mid and post campaign reports to improve in-flight optimizations and future campaign brief recommendations
Lead and implement Search campaign activities of established local and global brands across multiple industries
Attain Google Ads Search and Analytics certifications
Manage GroupM Nexus Search team and be responsible for team coaching and day-to-day supervision
Accountable for business performance and is a key leader in the performance implementation team, ensuring growth and development takes place
Explore and conceive novel opportunities to expand our advisory offering
Establish working models for Search to be used by GroupM Agency teams as a planning and an operations model
Responsibility for hiring, staff supervision, training and career development as well as serving as a positive role model with a hard work ethic and vigorously reviewing all work to ensure high quality standard
Review team's post-campaign inputs and include actionable insights and analysis on final reports
Any other project or tasks as assigned from time to time
Job Requirements:
6+ years working experience in Digital Marketing or relevant industry
3+ years in managing a technical team
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Experience managing a team to deliver best in class client campaigns
Deep knowledge of Search as a behavior not a platform. Covering Search planning expertise on verticals, social, e-Comm, audio
Practical expertise in paid Search activation on the global/regional biddable platforms including Search management platforms Google, Microsoft Advertising and relevant platform certification
Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-changing environment
Leadership skills demonstrated as the ability to anticipate and remove barrier to productivity, drive teams towards clear goals, take effective decisions and challenge the status quo
Strive for excellence demonstrated by setting high standards for yourself and others, holding teams accountable, focusing on continuous optimization while mitigating risks
Strong analytical, problem solving and time management skills
Creative and a good team player
Knowledge of digital marketing preferred
Proactively seek feedback on your work to take it to the next level
Detail oriented, responsive to deadlines and able to multitask
Ongoing interest in digital marketing, industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies
Client servicing experience and good interpersonal skills
Good working knowledge of non-digital media and the role they play in driving Search
Ability to build and maintain a productive collaboration across teams and external stakeholders
Persuasive and effective communicator
Passionate about digital marketing, Search tools and technologies and eager to keep learning
