THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE...
The Global Assistant Brand Manager, Skin Care will be reporting into the Global Category Manager - Skin Care (UI) and will play a key role in the achievement of this ambition to continue the growth momentum of Skin Care category. This role has a great deal of autonomy and will play a strategic role in opening new white space markets for Unilever across US, Africa, LatAm and EU and leading key innovations initiatives.
You will be closely working with Global Brand teams and UI markets teams craft out category opportunities and launch new mixes in markets. You will be leveraging digital and shopper marketing to build brands rapidly and lead the cross functional UI teams to land innovations in market fast with impact. Where the product does not exist, you will be leading innovation autonomously.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Driving Marketing Strategy
Driving and supporting strategy and marketing activities for Global Skin Care, including planning marketing activity calendar
Adopt long-term strategic view on new innovations route map in the next 1-3 years
Working closely with cross functional teams (R&D, SC, Finance, Sales) to ensure OTIF delivery of all key strategic projects across brands
Design for channel - tailor portfolio according to channels' needs
New Product Development
Autonomously run the launch plans, with close collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Supply Chain, NPD, R&D and key market business development managers
Re-energize the segment by leading disruptive new product innovations
Strengthen current mixes through premiumization of packaging and differentiated product claims
Identifying and Capitalising on White Spaces
Evaluating, analysing, and mapping white space opportunities for Skin Care to recommend strategic brand launches
Launching key niche brands across identified white space markets
Marketing Collaterals
Develop full 360 marketing toolkits for cluster teams to deploy in the markets
Develop disruptive best in class digital and social marketing plans for key brand launches
Creating appealing product selling stories and online marketing content
Ensuring product artwork development aligns with Skin Care identity and branding guidelines
Supporting Business Development teams with sales supporting materials (e.g. product information sheets, selling decks, etc.)
Stakeholder Management
Fostering strong relationships with wider UI Marketing team to share best practices and learnings

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Marketing experience in Brand Development (BD) and/or Brand Deployment (BB) in any region globally with a strong consumer focus
Strong track record of consistent in market delivery
Deep desire to do something exceptional in life
A bachelor's degree in any discipline
