Job Description
Handles General Accounting, Taxation (BIR,Local and other Govt Compliance), Audit (internal and external),
Ensures financial statement closing process is observed monthly. Implement strict timelines.
Checks and reviews various accounting records to ensure that these are orderly maintained and updated.
Coordinates with other accounting group for month-end closing processes.
Ensures that Fixed Asset, AR, Inventory, Cost, AP, Treasury, GL are closed monthly.
Prepare monthly and annual required financial reports including account analytics.
Track the company's accounting processes to identify areas for potential improvement.
Review accounting policies and procedures for the company, document and implement changes.
Collaborate with other departments for process improvements, accounting policy implementation.
Monitor the day-to-day accounting activities within the company, such as accruals, invoicing, bank reconciliation, intercompany and other transactions.
Review tax filings and payment, minimized tax exposures.
Handles and monitor the group business permit processing (as accounting counterpart of Admin Department)
Oversee accounting department employees including plant and project accountants.
Conduct daily huddle with accounting team to ensure daily productivity and daily deliverables.
Appraises and evaluates job performance of subordinates periodically.
Position Requirement / Professional Skills
Proven experience as a Accounting Manager
A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Mature judgment, initiative, and resourcefulness; proven ability to ensure an effective work structure to maximize productivity and achieve goals; excellent problem solving skills.
Strong Taxation Skills
Qualifications:
CPA
Coming from Big 4 Firm is a plus.
With 5 years and above experienced as Accounting Manager.
Proficient user of finance software. (accumatica is a plus)
Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
Advance knowledge in Accounting standards.
Advance knowledge in GL account analysis, Bookkeeping, FS preparation, financial reporting.
Experience in Construction Company, is a plus.
