The Opportunity:
People Advisory Services (PAS) provides corporate clients with an effective and efficient set of integrated offerings solving their most pertinent people related business challenges. Currently, the GDS provides PAS international mobility services to various EY practice offices and clients around the world.
The Engagement Management Services (EMS) is a work stream of PAS in GDS that provides a standard methodology for coordinating the administration of Global Mobility services. The main objective is to provide Information Management, Coordination, Account Management services globally and locally to PAS groups within EY. The primary role of an Analyst is to process the information provided by various teams from across EY, clients and third parties, analyze information, process the data and ensure accuracy of deliverables.
Job purpose
The primary role of an Advanced Analyst is to analyse information to prepare accurate tax returns and help Seniors/Managers manage relationships with the client
Client responsibilities
Good grasp of baseline tax technical issues and processes; an understanding of more complex technical issues
Review simple and some working-level returns
Consistently provide high quality work
Take on a more advanced role on less complex assignments
Demonstrate an ability to supervise, review, develop and delegate to Tax Analysts
Contribute to client satisfaction by providing timely and effective responses to client needs and concerns
Maintain collaborative relationships with EY colleagues
Assist Seniors and Managers on special projects, as requested
Proactively identify issues and recommend solutions
Demonstrate professionalism and poise in demeanour, attitude, communication, behaviour and interaction with others
People responsibilities
Motivate, inspire and coach Tax Analysts
Mentor new members of the team
Contribute actively to creating a high performing team
Technical skills requirements
