Enterprise Technology has an opportunity for a capable Front-End Engineer to join our team of Full-Stack DevOps Engineers. This is an opportunity for a motivated individual to work closely with the business and the development team in the design, coding, testing, and implementation of user interfaces for key projects that use digital technologies like Robotics, Analytics/AI, Microservices and AWS. This opportunity will also enable the candidate to round out their skills by being trained in and having hands-on experience with full-stack development and DevOps.
In this role, you are expected to be involved in several projects ranging from software upgrades to business-driven enhancements and building relationships and working closely with the business to produce functional and technical designs, code, automated tests and support applications in production. Moreover, you will be assisting with work estimation, process improvements, systems integration and technology upgrades.
We need a strong Front-End Developer with:
Minimum 3-5 years front-end development experience with an eye for good UI/UX design
Experienced in Front-End technologies such as Angular 2+, Typescript, Node.js
Knowledge of npm package installation, web components, and integrating with REST API is a must
Willing to learn Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and AWS
DevOps experience is an advantage
Creative thinker and passion for innovation
Learning mindset and willingness to explore new technology and new ways of working
Could multitask and flex between roles within a devops team
Proven ability to operate independently and proactively
Ability to work effectively with clients, development teams, business, senior managers and other team members
Degree qualification or equivalent in a relevant computer science discipline
