Our dynamic team is looking for a FRONTEND DEVELOPER, who will help us create beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces for web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a multi-tasking and cross-cultural environment, has excellent frontend web development knowledge, a firm grasp of key design principles, is self-directed, is a strong collaborator, focused on customer satisfaction and passionate about driving digital innovation. The suitable candidate must have a strong desire for excellence, self-improvement and enabling others to have the same.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze business requirements and translate into functional, interactive and scalable applications.
Translate UI/UX design wireframes to actual code
Incorporate visual, audio and other interactive elements into applications
Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and development best practices
Routinely test applications for ease of use, speed and other quality factors
Fix any application issues or bugs that arise
Collaborate with developers and designers to implement solutions using the Outsystems platform
Use and change the OutSystems UI framework including themes, templates, patterns and creating live style guides
Demonstrate an Agile mindset (knowledge of Scrum is nice to have) and contribute to a self-organizing and highly productive team
Contribute to the improvement of processes and development of re-suable components and accelerators
REQUIREMENTS
Must have experience developing using an Agile development approach, experience in Scrum is a nice to have
Must be able to demonstrate experience (>= 4 years) and knowledge building fast, scalable, maintainable, secure and high-quality digital solutions
Must be able to demonstrate advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript
Must be able to demonstrate understanding of web application architecture
Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of coding best practices
Must be willing to learn how to do frontend development using Outsystems
Outsystems experience and certification is an advantage
Must be able to actively participate in discussions with the development team and other stakeholders. English fluency is required. Experience with US clients is an advantage.
Must be willing to work on European or US Eastern work shift as project requires.
Candidate must have stable internet connection and able work on a 100% work from home set up until further notice *
Formal Education and/or Certification:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
