What You'll be Doing -
Looking for an opportunity to transfer and build your career in Accounting? The Fixed Asset Subledger Specialist is responsible for all phases of fixed asset process including but not limited to asset additions, retirements, reinstatements, disposals, cost additions, transfers, depreciation, etc. Maintains and reconciles fixed asset records for all SOBs
During a Typical Day, You'll
Maintain all fixed assets transactions in Oracle financials (additions, retirement, transfers, depreciation and reclassifications) for all SOBs and ensures compliance to statutory documentation requirements and in adherence to internal Fixed Assets policy. Review of invoices for all FA additions prior to creation of assets.
Participates in monthly closing activities which includes preparation of journal entries, review of ledger accounts, accruals and flux analysis.
Preparation of monthly fixed assets reports.
Preparation of monthly reconciliation (Subsidiary ledger vs. General ledger and Subsidiary ledger vs. Database).
Assist in preparation of audit requests, adhoc reporting and inquiries and other projects as deemed necessary.
Timely and accurate handling of emails and calls.
Meets or exceeds team's SLAs. Other duties as assigned.
What You Bring to the Role -
BS Accountancy, CPA preferred
At least 1 year working experience in general accounting
Fixed asset accounting experience preferred
Exposure on GL, AP and Procurement a plus
Knowledgeable in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Experience working with any ERP systems, preferably Oracle, a plus
Experience handling high volume transactions
Willing to work early morning schedule
