ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT/STAFF
An Accounting Assistant/Staff is responsible for assisting Accountants with basic bookkeeping and accounting tasks. Their duties include reconciling bank records, drafting financial documents and invoicing customers or collecting payment
1. Accounting Assistant duties and responsibilities
Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
Create and update expense reports
Process reimbursement expenses, payables to suppliers and overhead expenses
Prepare bank deposits
Enter financial transactions into internal databases.
Check all invoices, deposits and reports for accuracy and timeliness
Maintain digital and physical financial records
Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed
Review and file payroll documents
Participate in quarterly and annual audits
Does other clerical work as assigned from time to time.
2. Requirements and Skills
Work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk
Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
Familiarity with finance regulations
Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
Organization or teamwork skills
Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
BSc/Ba in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
3. Accounting Assistant salary expectations
The one with related experience in accounting and admin
Entry salary of P13,111.00
Government mandated benefits - SSS/ Philhealth/PagIBIG
Service incentive leave of 5 days during the first year.
13TH month pay (prorated)
Overtime pay - if necessary and with prior authority
Regular holiday pay
Fresh graduate or applicant with no experience yet
Entry salary is minimum or P501.00 / day
All the benefits listed above after 5 months of probationary employment.
