Job Description:
Budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of the business to support major corporate decisions
Prepare quarterly forecast, annual budget, and long-range or five-year plan
Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of all operational aspects of the business to evaluate progress towards reaching its goals
Provide critical financial insights through interpretation of financial results - including trends, risks, and opportunities to drive timely and actionable decisions
Analyze current and past trends in KPI's including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, capital expenditures and other related areas
Prepare internal reports for executive leadership and support their decision making
Compare historical results against budgets and forecasts, and perform variance analysis to explain differences in performance and make improvements going forward
Review operations and recommend new productivity or cost saving initiatives
Develop financial models and analysis to support strategic initiatives
Recommend, implement and maintain general process improvements within the company
Participate in other projects initiated by the department
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance and/or Accounting; CPA an advantage but not required; MBA is also a plus
At least 5 years of work experience in a similar role, with responsibilities in financial analysis, financial planning, strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, revenue accounting and P&L
Good report writing skills, highly analytical, systems oriented, methodical, and has capability to make sound business decisions
Willing to work in BGC, and on-site most days
