Duties and responsibilities:
Responsible in overseeing daily operations of accounting related to General Ledger, Accounts Payable & Inventory
Ensure timely and accurate monthly and year-end close; including but not limited to review of journal entries, bank reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation and other region report requirements
Ensure timely compliance of regulatory submissions, eg, tax returns (VAT, Withholding Tax, local business tax etc)
Ensure adherence to latest accounting and taxation standards as well as proper internal control systems.
Responsible for Inventory reconciliation and ensure monitoring of Operations compliance to inventory process and controls
Coordinate & complete annual audits; ensure timely submission of audit requirements
Coordinates with Banks and vendors
Supports the Finance Director with region reports & other adhoc financial reports
Required Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy
CPA is required
Experience in using accounting software & ERPs (Netsuite background is a plus)
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Excellent in Microsoft Excel
Familiar with local government requirements and deadlines
Minimum 2 years supervisory position
Preferably Assistant Managers/Managers specialising in Finance & Accounting operations.
