Responsible in performing reinsurance services functions including processing of technical accounts, reinsurance collections, premiums and adjustments. Debtors and creditors management to optimize cash flows of the company

Policy, Process and Procedures
Responsible in managing the subsidiary ledger of each segment, review entries and reconcile transactions in a timely manner
Enter RI policies on company's Reinsurance systems and ensure premiums are paid to reinsures
Consider all claims advices to establish the nature and extent if any reinsurance recovery/reserve applicable
Maximize the process in place in order to ensure timely and accurate reinsurance recoveries
Process RI premiums and claims onto internal systems
Respond to all external and internal queries
Suggest process improvements initiatives and provide solutions to enhance current processes
Accuracy of bookings in Prosume
Contracts are entered into the system
Claims recoveries advised to reinsurers promptly
Collections issue promptly to reinsurers
All items processed and queries responded to within agreed timeframes
Environmental Awareness/Customer Focus
Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, specifically Divisions, Brokers, Underwriting and other internal support teams
Ensure high standards of service are maintained and improved upon
Positive relationships with stakeholders
Feedback from internal/external customers
Technical Performance
Prepare quota shares templates monthly/quarterly and send to QBE Divisions to complete for the production numbers and reserves
Review and processing of quota shares statement/advice from Brokers
Validate quota share templates to ensure consistency and accuracy of numbers with the provisions of the contracts
Prepare EDIs or Bordereau entries in Prosume
Assist in sending and following up of reinsurance collections to meet with required contract terms
Coordinate with Divisions/Brokers or other internal functional units to reconcile data or account balances inquiries
Assist with capturing cover note information on reinsurance systems to ensure that all correct details are captured
Review Lloyds Outward Reinsurance Scheme (LORS) advises and ensure these are processed accurately and timely
Processing of balances due to quota shares and XOL premiums
Processing of Claims Teams request for payment, validate that booking match with advices and supported with approvals
Generate Debtors and Creditors report and provide comments on ageing accounts
Provide information with Cash team regarding expected cash receipts and planned disbursements for effective cash management
Prepare reinsurance debtors reports (RIDAR) and performs GRS (Longview) comparison for quarterly Group submission
Assist on the preparation of bad debt provision calculations on RI recoveries
Ensure premium adjustments and endorsements are updated in Prosume
Review contracts quarterly/annually, and calculate provisions for policies that are subject to profit commissions
Archive documents properly
Provide inputs for DTP updates
Completeness and accuracy of information in Prosume
Positive internal/external client feedback
Provide accurate reports
