Job Overview:
Our Finance team is in need of Finance Officers / Accountants who will be assigned to our Australian and UK-based clients. This role requires adequate knowledge and skills for various finance processes and tax regulations. Finance Officer is responsible for providing quality receipt processing and must be keen on details.
Moreover, this role will closely with the Senior Finance Officer and involve direct contact with the client's counterpart Finance Officers, and Administration Officers, therefore above average verbal and written communication skills are required.
Responsibilities:
Manages the customer's accounting systems (Thrive, MYOB, Xero, SapphireOne) and portals (SharePoint).
Ensures the accuracy of the data processed in the customer's accounting system.
Communicates directly to customers for declined reimbursements.
Respond to finance queries and provides feedback.
Assist the client in completing the monthly Financial Report and Business Activity Statement (BAS).
Preparation and submission of timely statutory and taxation requirements.
Ensures accuracy of the general ledger including preparation/review of journal entries, execution of closing tasks, and preparation and distribution of various periodic reports.
Preparation of monthly reconciliations and financial statements
Perform other duties and functions as may be required
Requirements:
Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
At least 1 year of experience in financial services, preferably in a BPO setting
At least 1 year of experience in accounting software
Experience with Australian and UK-based clients is an advantage
Sapphire One accounting software knowledge is an advantage
Experience in preparing financial statements and business activity sheets
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Amenable to in a 6-month project-based contract
Amenable to 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or 3:00 pm. to 12:00 a.m. shift
Amenable and capable of working from home (stable internet and reliable device)
Amenable to in Pasay near the MOA complex when required
