An exciting Finance Manager job based in Bonifacio Global City has just become available at one of the leading e-commerce companies.
About the Finance Manager Role:
In this role, you will be required to have knowledge of audit, accounting, Philippines financial reporting standards, and international financial reporting standards. The role reports directly to the PH Financial Controller, and indirectly to the Regional Financial Controller based in Singapore, while leading a team in Manila.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the financial activities of the Company for financial reporting and help management make financial decisions; Prepare, analyse, and report financial performance against key business metrics; Prepare budget and regular forecast in conjunction with the requirements of the Head office
Evaluate the processed accounting information in the system to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget and operating effectiveness of the organisation
Oversee the month-end closing process, ensure transactions for the month are completely captured and recorded in the books, and manage cash flow and forecasting. Ensure that billing and collection schedules are adhered to and vendor terms are maximised to support operation requirements
Maintain banking relationships
Lead and ensure compliance with statutory annual audit process and tax reporting, liaise with auditors and tax consultants, and supervise team members who do the billings, payments, revenue reconciliations and analysis of GL accounts
Monitor financial details to ensure that legal requirements are met
To succeed in this Finance Manager role, you must have at least nine years' experience in finance, with a minimum of two years as a team manager.
Key Requirements:
CPA is a must
Experience in a Big 4 firm
Experience in retail, FMCG or trading companies is a plus
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Must have very strong Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyse heavy volume data and reconciliation
Experience in handling a team of at least five people
Fluency in both written and spoken in English
Must be willing to work in BGC, on a day shift schedule, Mondays through Fridays
