Qualified candidate is responsible for providing effective and efficient accounting and financial strategies.
His/Her Key Duties and responsibilities are:
Manage, direct, and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization
Ensures that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting
Manages processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation to forecast monthly and Annual Income, Expenditures and Profitability to monitor business performances.
Manage the day-to-day financial activities of the organization; control its financial resources and ensure that all financial transactions, systems and procedures comply with regulations, accounting principles, and standards. Activities may include: financial analysis and reporting; taxation; insurance; credit control; accounts payable and receivable; inventory and costs control; and budgeting and forecasting.
Maintains financial records for each project in a manner that facilitates management reports.
Ensures that accurate and timely financial statements are prepared in accordance with contract agreements with clients.
Provides accurate and timely reporting on the financial activity of the organization
Ensures that all assets and resources of the company are effectively used, managed and accounted for.
Ensures that all government taxes are processed and paid on time.
Ensures that all reportorial government requirements are filed/submitted timely.
Attends to External Auditors during interim and year-end audits.
Ensures submission of schedules, reports, financial records for External Audit.
Mentors staff and subordinates.
Manage a team that handles all financial related activities.
Financial Statement Preparation
Job Qualification
Qualified candidate:
Must be a Certified Public Accountant
Proven experience as Accounting Supervisor or Accounting Manager
Background in Taxation, Financial Statement Preparation, Philippine Accounting Standard, Auditing, Government Reports and other Accounting facets
Attention to details and accurate
Strong personality that can work under extreme pressure and tight deadlineHas good communication and organizational skill
Must be a team player with track record of providing general support to a small or star-up business
Must be able to work independently and effectively managing own workload without guidance or supervision
Applicant must be willing to work on long and extended work hours
