FINANCE ASSOCIATE
The Finance Associate will support the finance department in maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This role requires proficiency in QuickBooks to manage accounts and assist with various financial tasks.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and update financial records in QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Transaction Processing: Process invoices, receipts, and payments; reconcile bank statements and accounts on a monthly basis.
Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports; provide financial data and analysis to support decision-making.
Budget Assistance: Support budget preparation and monitoring; track expenses against budget forecasts.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable, receivable and reconciliation processes, including invoice generation, payment processing, and collections.
Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and reports.
Communication: Resolve financial discrepancies and provide support related to financial processes.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards; assist in the implementation of financial controls and procedures.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Finance Associate or similar role.
Proficiency in QuickBooks is required; experience with other accounting software is a plus.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
