FINANCE OFFICER
 
JOB DESCRIPTION 
Prepares, reviews, and analyzes monthly and annual financial statements, budgets, consolidated reports, and financial forecasts to support management decision-making.
Oversees the day-to-day accounting and finance operations of the holding company and all subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment of financial processes.
Ensures timely and accurate tax filings, statutory submissions, and full compliance with financial regulations, internal policies, and audit standards across all subsidiaries.
Manages cash flow, fund allocation, intercompany transactions, and budget monitoring to maintain operational liquidity and financial stability.
Coordinates with internal departments, subsidiary finance teams, auditors, external partners, and regulatory agencies, and supervises the accounting staff of the holding company and all subsidiaries to ensure smooth, accurate, and compliant financial operations.
Verifies all prepared reports as compliance to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) requirements such as but not limited to; Monthly Payment of Compensation (1601 - C), Expanded Withholding Tax (1601 - E), Monthly VAT Returns (2550 - M), Quarterly VAT Returns (2550 - Q), Quarterly Income Tax Return (1702 - Q).
Adheres to the rule of confidentiality on all privileged information.
Entertains and recommend possible solution to all accounting related concerns.
Supports annual audit by providing information and answers to auditors.
Checking the Petty Cash Fund Replenishment report.
Provides general support to all operating sections of the company.
Ensures compliance on all established organizational policies and operating procedures.
Checking the Monthly Sales Report of Truck Scale, Fumigation, Container Yard and Trucking.
Monitoring and Checking of Employees advances.
Performs other relevant task as may be assigned from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
At least two (2) years of relevant supervisory experience
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong initiative with a proactive, action-oriented mindset
Sound decision-making and analytical skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Service-oriented with a strong sense of accountability
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Computer-literate; proficient in Microsoft Office applications and accounting software
