JOB SUMMARY:
Finance Associate is responsible for the preparation of management reports which are used in the Company's decisions for its investment portfolio. Finance Associate directly reports to the Investment Officer and Management.
KEY FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
FINANCIAL AND INTERNAL REPORTING (20%)
Financial Statements/Management Reports
Reconciliation of transactions to be used for user report prepared.
Daily collation of investment market data.
Accurate and timely preparation and reporting of Cash Position reports and other management reports.
Keeping up-to-date with market trends by attending industry updates and seminars held by key investment houses and brokers in the Philippines.
In-depth research to be used for investee analysis and management reports.
REGULATORY COMPLIANCE (5%)
LGU/SEC/BIR
Assistance in the audits.
COMPANY ASSETS AND INFORMATION (5%)
Ensuring all data and pertinent documentation are kept and filed systematically and information integrity and confidentiality are not breached.
FUND MANAGEMENT (70%)
Accurate and timely preparation and reporting of Cash Position reports and other management reports.
Fundamental analysis of target investment companies to determine where to put funds.
Investment Report submitted on time with up-to-date and accurate information.
Investment System implemented, either off the shelf or built based on investment report and reconciled to IFCA.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
With at least 2-3 years of financial accounting/analysis or related experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Proficiency with applications for data analytics such as Power BI.
Willing to work on-site.
EDUCATION, TRAININGS, LICENSES REQUIRED:
Graduate of BS Accountancy
Preferably a CPA license holder
Preferably from a Big 4 Accounting Firm (EY/PWC/Deloitte/KPMG)
