JOB SUMMARY:
The Finance Analyst is responsible for the consolidation of the financial results of the Agency's operations. The position can be regarded as the gate-keeper of balances thus ensuring completeness, compliance, and accuracy of all financial reports.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
Monitor and Review Accuracy of Financial Transactions
Reviews and posts journal entries in SAP created by the Finance Account Executives and Cash Management team.
Reviews completeness of vendor accreditation requirements - include vendor validation
Issues ASC Payment Vouchers; Validates and monitors outstanding vouchers of the requesting employees
Validates Cash Advance Requests of employees - monitors unliquidated balances
Monitors and addresses unusual items i.e. outstanding accrual items, unsettled AP collected from Client
Prepares tax returns for MWG-PH, HCI, Screentology, Fintec - includes tax reconciliations
Clears offsetting entries and maintains valid balances for BS accounts. (Conversion of OIM accounts)
Performs bank reconciliation - includes inspection of unreleased checks in UBP branch
Submits monthly reporting requirements - Hyperion uploads, RRT, ARA schedules, Accrual entries
Reviews BS and IS accounts - recommend adjusting entries if necessary
Monitors manual TBs for SCI and Fintec
Intercompany monitoring (entries and billings)
Handle audit requirements - IPG-IA, IPG-RCT, Clients, Statutory (PWC)
Preparation of financial statements for MWG-PH, HCI, Screentology, Fintec, Conso FS of MWG & FHI
Resolve audit findings through the creation of process improvements, initiatives, control procedures, etc.
Other responsibility
Conduct regular VMF review; Annual vendor purge  Complete client accreditation requests  Records Management/Archiving
Required Skills
TECHNICAL OR SPECIFIC SKILLS
Proficient in MS Office Programs  Accounting principles  Strong attention to detail  Highly organized  Good analytical skill
Required Experience
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Graduate of Accountancy or Accounting related course
Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field or assignment
Preferably willing to work on a hybrid set-up until further notice. Minimum of two (2) days of work on-site per week unless required by the business/client.
