Field Operation Support Officer Role is to manage and update database for the installed infrastructures and equipment.
Position Responsibilities/Job Description:
NIE/FOPS Rush Pick up/Delivery Orders
Processing invoices for approvals for payments
Requesting for Materials Quotation from the Supplier
Processing EMF and Decommissioning of Racks and Facilities
Updating LSD for Field Ops works (Patching, Installations, Terminations, Decommissioning, Active Equipment Pre Patching, Battery Information, & Building Manager Updates)
Post Fault Cost Recovery (Cable Damage Recovery)
Raising Maintenance tickets for Data Centers and Colo Areas
Monitoring of Maintenance tickets for TEBA and POP Sites and Updating LSD
Processing of COPE & Startrack Orders
Monitoring of NIE Stocks in Rush
Digitizing and updating of floor plan
Access Request approval request
Raising Access Request to GS and Next DC
Raising of HAN site Audit Tickets and updating of spreadsheet of results
Raising of Site Audit Tickets and updating of spreadsheet of results
Processing and Raising of Joint Audit
Raising Of FOPS ticket for VHA Mile End Testing
Raising of Change Management (CM) Tickets for Live/Hot Cut-Over
Requesting and Closing of Budget ID (Field Operation Budgets)
Creation of Weekly Material Stocks Report
Qualifications/Educational Background:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology, Business Studies/Administration/Management
Has strong analytical thinking.
Ability to work and interact with people at all levels and meet deadlines
Strong documentation and communication skills (Verbal and Written)
Technical Expertise/Certifications required:
Preferably with Field Operations experience
Working knowledge of equipment use to maintain data centers
Working knowledge of Fiber Optic deployment requirements
Working experience in any Database that keeps track of fiber infrastructure
Understand and able to interpret engineering installation plans
Sound understanding of telecommunications physical construction
Expertise in Excel, AutoCAD and Visio is an advantage
