Main responsibilities:
Performs and/or arrange for regular preventive maintenance on building systems, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and control systems and related components; ∙ Identifies repair and maintenance projects requiring the assistance of contractors or vendors, monitors work of vendors or contractors;
Conducts regular inspection of office furniture and equipment and identify needs for re pairs;
Coordinates multiple Facilities related projects with efficiency and proficiency in meeting timelines and schedules;
Assists in the review of new construction or remodel plans to assure compliance with facility maintenance standards.
Design and oversee the schedule for cleaning and disinfecting the building; ∙ Tests building security systems and promotes safety within the building; ∙ Provides information to Management and stakeholders regarding works that are being carried out that may affect their working environment or conditions;
Maintains a reporting system to track progress of deliverables and tasks;
Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations;
Removes hazardous materials from all areas accessible to employees and guests.
Qualifications:
At least 3 years' experience in facilities management and/or a Trade qualification
Strong knowledge of facilities management operations
Familiarity with office equipment and security systems
Must have proficient knowledge, skill, and demonstrated
ability to properly use hand tools common to facility repair and maintenance
Must have the ability to identify facility/maintenance issues, including the ability to provide validation & sign-off of work per-formed by contractors (i.e., hands-on validation of functional/working completeness).
