API NEXT EDU INC. B'Cebu is seeking a highly organized and proactive External Affairs Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and processing government-related documentation, ensuring full compliance with Philippine labor, immigration, and business regulations. This role is critical in ensuring the company operates in full compliance with Philippine national and local laws, acting as the primary bridge between the company and various government agencies.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Process Alien Employment Permits (AEPs), visas, and other related government documents for foreign employees.
Coordinate with government agencies such as the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Bureau of Immigration (BI), and other relevant offices to ensure compliance with labor and immigration laws.
Serve as the company's primary representative, handle the timely application and renewal of all essential business permits and licenses, and liaison with various government agencies, including but not limited to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Local Government Units (LGU), Mayor's Permit, Barangay Clearance, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Safety Inspection Certificate, and Sanitary Permit.
Monitor deadline and ensure timely submission, renewal, and release of permits, licenses, and other compliance-related documents.
Maintain accurate records of all government-related transactions and ensure proper filing and safekeeping of documents.
Build and maintain professional relationships with government representatives and external stakeholders.
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Legal Management, or any related field.
At least 1 year of proven experience in handling government documentations and compliance processes.
Familiarity with Philippine labor laws, immigration requirements, and business regulatory compliance.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication both in Filipino (for government representatives) and English (for employers), and interpersonal skills for effective coordination and relay of message.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
