What you'll do:
Produce monthly, weekly virtual (and physical in Q1 2021- to be discussed) events: masterclasses, whisky tastings in the food & beverage industry
Identify, grow, and nurture relationships at all levels in partner organizations
Worked with moderators, collaborators, and brands
Established relationship with vendors long term and work on best deals with them
Coordinate bottles and tasting kits with suppliers and operations
Provide host and moderator support for virtual events
Conduct mock-up virtual events prior to actual event with the people involved per event
Work closely with IT, marketing team such as content writer, designers & illustrators for event collateral and promotional materials (email marketing, ads, Viber content, landing pages)
Work closely with marketing and align relevant internal operation department across product, customer success, marketing, and sales around the opportunity and business impact
Establish and measure event KPIs and produce reports to help refine remote event strategy and guide future system needs
Monitor and update events P&L and project management file
Join Daily huddle with the management to align events plan and coordination
This will be a work from home set up for now. We can discuss the work set up once the govt ease up the community quarantine but this will be what we are working on for now.
Who you are and what you'll need for this position:
At least 1 year of event production experience
Strong analytical and planning skills; good communicator is a must
Experience with virtual event strategy is an advantage but not preferred as we believed that you can learn if you are willing.
Experience working with host, moderator, and suppliers
Experience with online platforms, e.g. Zoom, Facebook live is an advantage
Experience working with Google Documents and social media
Experience working closely with designers & illustrators for event collateral and promotional materials
Project Management skills and experience with project management software is advantage
Exceptional interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills
A passion for events and comfort working under tight deadlines
Extraordinary self-starter, strong initiative, and attention to detail
Bachelor s degree or higher in Administration, Events, Marketing or related field
High EQ, comfort with ambiguity, and a "no job too small" startup mentality
Not take yourself too seriously and the ability to have fun
