ESL TEACHER (ACADEMIC & SCHOOL SUPPORT)
 
Location: Preferably from Lapu-Lapu, City, Cebu
Starting salary: 13,000-18,000 per month
 
Working Schedule:
Wednesdays-Sundays = 1:00 pm-9:40 pm
Monday-Tuesday (OFF)
About the Role
 
We are looking for energetic and dedicated ESL Teachers to join our close-knit team. At Sunny International Academy, we believe in a "growth mindset." While your primary focus is teaching, as a small school, we all work together to support our marketing and student activities to ensure our academy continues to thrive.
Core Teaching Duties
Instruction:  Prepare and conduct English lessons focusing on grammar, pronunciation, and sentence structure.
Materials:  Design engaging lesson plans and PowerPoints.
Student Success: Provide constructive feedback, correct student errors, and prepare homework assignments.
Environment:  Maintain a positive, organized, and encouraging classroom for all students.
School Support & Marketing (As-Needed)
Creative Tasks: Help the team create basic posters usingCanva.
Content: Occasionally take/edit simple photos or short videos of classes for school promotion.
Growth:  Participate in online/offline activities and assist in marketing efforts to help us find and welcome new students.
Qualifications
Education:  College Graduates are welcome (Education or English majors are an advantage).
Experience:  Previous teaching experience is a plus, but we are open to training motivated fresh graduates.
Communication:  Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Tech-Savvy: Computer literate and comfortable usingCanvafor basic design.
Mindset:  Proactive, willing to learn, and able to work with minimum supervision.
Attitude:  A "team player" who can work under pressure and is happy to assist in various school tasks to help us grow.
