The Tasks/Responsibilities of the position are as follows:
• Creates bid/buying specifications, guidelines and standards for MEPFS projects (e.g. installation guidelines, synopsis template, etc.)
• Assesses previous project implementations and equipment performances
• Conducts case studies.
• Initiates system improvements based on historical data and other references (e.g. cost standardization, etc.)
• Assists the Project Owners during negotiation by providing pre-assessment of quotations and project details.
• Handles comprehensive evaluation of projects for approval based on the following, but not limited to, compliance to specifications and standards, OPEX and CAPEX analysis, technical analysis and contractor's performance.
• Conducts spot audit on site to ensure compliance to specifications and standards
• Initiates equipment related training programs in collaboration with contractors and suppliers
• Monitors contract terms thru warranty trackers
• Monitors status and updates of on-going projects.
• Handles Roof Management Committee (RMC) - Roof Replacement, Waterproofing, Protective Coating and minor Civil Works projects
• Presides monthly RMC meeting with contractors and project owners.
• Consolidates and analyzes reports, and issues and concerns of all malls nationwide for project under RMC; to be discussed during monthly meeting
• Directs and collaborates with RMC members to generate their regional reports and to help further improve the committee
• Coordinates with RMC contractors to help Project Owners resolve their major issues and concerns.
• Consolidates, generates and analyzes Contractor's Performance Evaluation ratings from all mall nationwide
• Reports and discusses quarterly Contractor's Performance Evaluation results to contractors and heads during RMC meeting.
• Ensures contractors compliance to the bid documents (approves plans and specifications) during the entire project implementation.
• Organizes and facilitates centralized pre-bid meetings for all CapEx and OpEx projects.
• Consolidates audit/close-out reports on on-going projects to ensure compliance to specifications and standards.
Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering
At least 1 yr of experience in the construction industry
Willing to be assigned in office-based activities
Willing to work in MOA, Pasay
