Lead in the strategic development and roll-out of engaging the Muslim Religious Leaders
Develop strategies for sensitizing men and boys in supporting family planning and MCH initiatives;
Network with local partners (private and public) at the regional, provincial, and city levels in the implementation of initiatives/activities on MRLs and men;
Lead the capacity building initiatives for Ulama to promote the Fatwa on Family Planning;
Lead capacity building initiatives for male champions to advance FP in the communities;
Support MRLs and male champions in their community activities;
Work closely with the Monitoring and Evaluation team in the design of tracking/monitoring tools for various research studies and interventions;
Provide technical oversight to consultants and other experts engaged in supporting MRLs activities;
Document/ write good practices and case studies;
Do other tasks as may be required of the Project.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
Masters' degree in public health, theology, or another related field
Minimum of 5 years of work experience supporting gender-transformative approaches, and Islam and family planning initiatives
Demonstrable experience in working with Ulama and supporting development initiatives
Strong communication skills in written and spoken English and local languages
